Day 1 — Trust the Lighthouse
Scripture: Psalm 119:105
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Sailors have relied on lighthouses for centuries. In storms, darkness, and uncertainty, the beam of light helps mariners determine their position and avoid danger. The lighthouse does not remove the storm, but it provides guidance through it.
God’s Word functions much the same way in our spiritual lives. We often wish God would illuminate the entire journey, but He usually provides enough light for the next step. Faith is not seeing the whole voyage; it is trusting the One who guides us.
When life’s fog rolls in, Scripture reminds us where true north lies. The Bible anchors us in truth when emotions fluctuate and circumstances become uncertain.
Reflection Questions:
- Where do you need God’s guidance today?
- Are you spending time in His Word regularly?
- What decision requires the light of Scripture?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my light in uncertain times. Help me trust Your guidance and follow Your Word one step at a time. Amen.
