Day 3 — Listen to the Buoys
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Buoys mark hazards, channels, and safe routes through the water. Wise mariners pay attention to these markers because they reveal dangers that may not be visible from the surface.
God places spiritual buoys in our lives. Scripture, the Holy Spirit, godly mentors, and wise counsel often warn us when we are approaching danger. Ignoring those warnings can lead us into trouble.
Sometimes God’s guidance comes as a gentle caution rather than a dramatic intervention. Learning to recognize and obey His direction is an important part of spiritual maturity.

- Has God been warning you about something recently?
- Are there trusted people speaking wisdom into your life?
- What spiritual markers help keep you on course?
Prayer:
Lord, give me ears to hear Your voice and wisdom to follow Your guidance. Help me recognize the warnings You place in my path. Amen.
