Day 4 — Looking for People of Peace
Scripture: Luke 10:6
“If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them.”
When Jesus sent His followers out, He taught them to look for receptive people—those whom God was already preparing.
The disciples were not responsible for forcing results. Their responsibility was faithfulness.
Sometimes we become discouraged when people reject the message of Christ. Jesus prepared His disciples for that reality. He told them not to force it. Instead, they were to continue looking for those whose hearts were open.
God is always at work before we arrive.
There are people in your workplace, neighborhood, school, or community whom God is already drawing toward Himself. Our role is to be available, attentive, and obedient.
The mission isn’t about convincing everyone. It’s about faithfully sharing Christ and trusting God with the results.

- Are there people who seem open to spiritual conversations?
- How can you become more attentive to the Holy Spirit’s leading?
Prayer
Jesus, help me recognize the people You are preparing. Give me wisdom, courage, and compassion as I share Your love with others. Amen.
