Day 2 — Trained on the Journey
Scripture: Mark 3:14
“He appointed twelve that they might be with Him and that He might send them out.”
Jesus did not merely teach His disciples in a classroom. He taught them while they walked dusty roads, met hurting people, and faced real-life challenges.
The disciples learned by doing.
They helped feed thousands. They witnessed miracles. They ministered to the sick and broken. They observed Jesus showing compassion to people others ignored.
Before Jesus sent them out, He spent time with them. Before He expected them to serve, He taught them how to follow.
God often develops us through experience. Some of our greatest lessons come not from books or sermons but from walking through situations that require us to depend on Him.
The road may feel uncertain, but every challenge can become part of God’s training process.

- What is God teaching you through your current circumstances?
- How has a difficult season strengthened your faith?
- Are you spending time with Jesus before trying to serve Him?
Prayer
Father, teach me through the experiences You place before me. Help me grow in faith, wisdom, and dependence upon You. Amen.
