Day 5 — One Body, One Mission
Scripture: Romans 12:5
“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Many people. Many backgrounds. Many personalities. Many gifts. One body. That is God’s design for His church. We don’t have to be identical to be united. In fact, our differences are part of what makes the body strong.
When we operate together, we become stronger than we would be individually. One person encourages. Another teaches. Another serves. Another leads. Another gives. Another shows mercy. And together, God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.
The church isn’t simply a place we attend. It is a people we belong to. And we are sent into our communities as Christ’s representatives. Wherever God has placed you—at work, at home, on a military installation, in your neighborhood, or among your friends—you have an opportunity to use what God has given you for His glory.
People come and go. Assignments change. Seasons change. But our mission remains. Love people. Build one another up. Serve faithfully. Point people to Jesus. Imagine what could happen if every person in your church intentionally used the gifts God has given them.
Imagine the encouragement. Imagine the growth. Imagine the ministry. Imagine the eternal impact. One body. Many members. Many gifts. One Lord. One mission.

Where has God placed you right now, and how can you use your gifts to make an eternal impact there?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for making me part of Your body. Help me love Your church, serve Your people, and faithfully use the gifts You have given me. Unite us in love and mission. Use our church to bring hope, encouragement, and the gospel to our community. May everything we do point people to You. Amen.

Write down one person or group God has placed around you. Pray about one specific way you can serve, encourage, or share Christ with them this week.
