Day 3 — You Are Needed
Scripture: Romans 12:4–5
“Though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
Paul gives us a powerful picture of the church: a body.
A body has many parts, but every part matters.
Your eyes have a function. Your hands have a function. Your feet have a function. Your ears have a function.
The same is true of the church.
God has intentionally placed people with different personalities, experiences, abilities, and gifts within His church.
We don’t all have the same role—and that’s exactly the point.
Sometimes we compare ourselves with others and conclude that we don’t have much to offer.
But God doesn’t ask you to be someone else.
God made you to be you.
You may not preach from a pulpit. You may never lead worship. You may never teach a class.
But perhaps God has given you the gift of encouragement. Maybe you are a servant. Maybe you are a leader. Maybe you are someone who notices people others overlook.
Never underestimate what God can do through a willing servant.
You matter to the body of Christ.

What qualities, abilities, experiences, or spiritual gifts has God given you that could bless others?
Prayer:
God, thank You for making me uniquely and intentionally. Help me recognize what You have given me and use it faithfully. Keep me from comparing myself with others. Show me how I can strengthen the body of Christ. Amen.
Today’s Challenge:
Ask someone who knows you well: “What do you think God has gifted me to do?” Listen carefully to their answer.
