Day 4 — Check Your Compass
Scripture: Colossians 3:2
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
A compass helps sailors maintain the proper course, especially when landmarks disappear. Without a reliable compass, it is easy to become disoriented.
Our spiritual compass is centered on Christ. The values of the world constantly pull us toward comfort, success, and self-interest. Jesus calls us to seek God’s kingdom first.
Regular prayer, worship, and reflection help recalibrate our hearts when they begin to wander. Just as navigators routinely check their heading, believers must continually align themselves with God’s purposes.
Reflection Questions:
- What currently occupies most of your thoughts?
- Are your priorities aligned with God’s priorities?
- How can you recalibrate your spiritual compass today?
Prayer:
Jesus, keep my heart pointed toward You. Align my desires with Your will and help me follow the course You have set before me. Amen.
