Day 1: Embrace the Master’s Heart
Scripture: Matthew 9:36
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
Observation:
Jesus’ mission began with His heart. Before He ever sent the disciples, He showed them how to love people. He didn’t avoid the broken or overlook the outcast—He leaned in with compassion. We can’t reach people for Jesus unless we first care deeply about them. The world doesn’t need more critics—it needs more shepherds.
Question to Consider:
Do I see people the way Jesus sees them?
Challenge:
Spend five minutes today praying for the compassion of Christ to fill your heart. Go out of your way to show kindness to someone who often gets overlooked.
Prayer:
Lord, soften my heart. Help me see people through Your eyes—with mercy, not judgment. Make me more like Jesus. Amen.
