Day 3: A Cup of Cold Water
Scripture: Matthew 10:42
“If anyone gives even a cup of cold water…that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
The world often celebrates grand accomplishments, but Jesus celebrates faithful hearts. A simple cup of cold water became an illustration of eternal significance.
God notices the text message sent to encourage a hurting friend. He sees the meal delivered to a struggling family, the quiet prayer offered for a neighbor, and the smile that welcomes a first-time visitor.
No act of kindness done for Christ is too small. What seems ordinary to us is extraordinary in God’s eyes when done with love.

Prayer
Lord, help me to be faithful in the little things. Open my eyes to opportunities to serve others with simple acts of kindness that reflect Your love. Amen.
