Day 5: Personal and National Alignment
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:9–11; Amos 7:14–15
Focus: Alignment Requires Action
Observation:
Paul reminds believers: “Such were some of you… but now you’re washed.” God called Amos from tending figs to proclaiming truth. When we come into alignment with Christ, He calls us into mission, not passivity.
Our personal holiness affects the health of the Church and the future of our nation. Realignment begins with repentance and surrender.
Reflection Questions:
- What part of your life is God calling into greater surrender?
- How can you help your church or community align more closely with God's will?
Challenge:
Confess one sin or area of compromise to God today—or to a trusted friend. Then take one concrete step of obedience God is calling you to.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that I am no longer who I once was. You have washed and set me apart. Help me live like I belong to You—boldly, humbly, and with purpose. Use me like You used Amos, for the good of others and the glory of Your Name.
Final Weekend Call to Action:
This weekend, set aside an hour for a Spiritual Life Checkup:
- Reflect: What has God revealed this week?
- Confess: What needs to change?
- Surrender: What step of obedience is next?
- Connect: Who will walk this journey with you?
God’s plumb line is not to condemn—but to realign. Come to Him, and let His grace reshape your life from the inside out.
